Datum Compensation Group is the independent analysis practice of Ali Riyaz, a senior executive compensation practitioner with more than 25 years across corporate leadership and consulting. His in-house career spans compensation leadership roles at large global employers in energy, aviation, and telecommunications.

His expert practice covers reasonable compensation, earning capacity, and executive pay in tax controversy, shareholder disputes, marital dissolution, and wage litigation, with more than 45 expert matters and over $100 million in compensation at issue. He is a co-author of multiple books on executive rewards and writes regularly on pay governance.

Retained expert witness engagements and bespoke consulting run through Grahall, LLC, where Ali is a partner. Datum handles fixed-fee studies exclusively.
